CONSTRUCTION means a lot! All MediaStar microphones feature an all metal body, including a stainless steel mesh grille. Inside, precision wound, pure copper coils and rare-earth permanent magnets are teamed with sensitive, precise sound-sensing diaphragms in carefully designed chambers.

The unbalanced microphone cables; supplied in various lengths (see chart above) for use with any MediaStar microphone and most industry standard microphones.

The MediaStar® Microphones
All MediaStar® microphones have a solid metal case and are either non-reflecting soft finish or dull black in color.

Shown Packaged, the 71-1500 microphone is set up for unbalanced amplifiers and supplied with a 12 foot long microphone cable with a 1/4" phone plug (longer cables, see the chart above for unbalanced cables).

Hyper-Cardioid Dynamic Model 1515 MediaStar microphone. The body and grille of the model 1515 are a non-reflective black, preferred by some stage performers as the microphone will not reflect spotlights. A good microphone for public-speakers, solo vocalists, trios, acoustic instruments.
Supplied with a 17 foot long, super-flexible cord which is terminated in a 3-pin XLR-style connector for use with balanced input amplifier systems. (May be used unbalanced by changing cord to no. 71-1590-series) On/Off switch on body for control by the performer.

Model no. 71-1519 hyper-cardioid Professional Stage Microphone.

Hyper-Cardioid Dynamic Model 1519 MediaStar microphone. The model 1519 should be first choice of the performer, either vocal or acoustic instrumental. The best in this series, we recommend it for vocalists singing solo, trios etc. Philmore invites comparisons to competition’s models ranging to four times the cost!

The model 1519 has a smooth response from bass to the highs, and it responds evenly across the range. The body of the model 1519 is non-reflective black, and the grille is a dull pewter finish. The design is intended to be non-reflecting but not invisible when on stage.

Supplied with a 17 foot long, super-flexible cord which is terminated in a 3-pin XLR-style connector for use with balanced input amplifier systems. (Cord plugs into connector at bottom of microphone.) On/Off switch on body for control by the performer.
