There can be no doubt that HDMI (high definition digital interface) has arrived as the new standard for audio/video equipment. CONVENIENCE is the purpose of the accessories on this page, permitting the use to easily connect his various pieces of equipment together for slick and easy use.

Philmore HDMI SWITCHES
    For connecting multiple digital A / V input devices (DVD players, set-top Satellite box etc.) to one HDTV display. An HDMI switch can eliminate the need to connect, disconnect and reconnect cables whenever you want to select a different device such as a DVD Player, Satellite box etc.

THREE WAY SWITCH..connect up to three HDMI input devices (your DVD etc.) to your HDTV. Supports resolutions up to and including 1080i, 720p. The switch has three HDMI inputs and one output to be connected to you HDTV

FIVE WAY SWITCH.. Much like the above but made to accommodate up to five input HDMI devices with a single output to your HDTV.

Philmore HDMI COUPLER & REPEATER

        The main difference between a coupler and a repeater is how far, in cable length, you can reach between HDMI equipment pieces. A coupler may be used to connect to extend a short length of HDMI cable up to another five meters (16.5 feet). The repeater regenerates the HDMI signals and can transmit HDMI audio/video through cable lengths up to 30 meters (98 feet). These can be handy accessories when it is desirable to have the HDTV in front of an audience, but all of the input devices in another area, such as the back of the room.

A self powered device that operates on voltages available in the HDMI cables (no batteries required) that supports HDMI audio/video. Resolutions up to 1080p, 1080i are supported (and lower such as 720 or 480). Maximum range suggested at five meters. Supports computer resolutions UXGA, SXGA, XGA, SVGA and VGA.

note: will also work with DVI when used with adaptor no. 45-7047

HDMI CABLE with BUILT-IN REPEATER

The HDMI Cables with built-in repeaters will regenerate HDMI audio/video signals so that they may be transmitted over considerable distances. Both cables are rated CL3/CMG for safe, in-wall installations. Features are as follows:

*Supports HDMI Audio/video and resolutions up to 1080P, 1080I as well as 720P, 480P & 480I
*Supports computer resolutions including UXGA, SXGA, XGA, SVGA & VGA

REMOTE CONTROLLED HDMI (with repeater) COMPONENT SELECTOR

Philmore No. 44-570 has it all. The Component Video, VGA and HDMI (w/repeater function) selector remote control is a digital switcher with Component Video, A/V, VGA and HDMI A/V connections. Features highest quality circuitry for no signal loss at any point. It features 3 Component Video, 3 VGA, 3 HDMI A/V, 3 A/V inputs, 1 Component Video, 1 VGA, 1 HDMI A/V, 1 A/V outputs, for HDTV source switching using a single high definition display. The HDMI ports provide fixed 8 db input equalization and 3 db output de-emphasis to compensate HDMI cable for up to 17M (55 ft.). A simple and reliable solution, the Component video and HDMI A/V selector links any HDTV source (DVD players and satellite set tops) to one HDTV display. You simply select which source you want to view on the display using the remote control.
